Hi Sharon, I just registered on this site because I'm looking to hear from others with NHL. I was newly diagnosed this year , Jan.7th. I have Grade I/Stage III NHL. (slow growing). I have taken two months to seek out information, talk to people, before deciding on treatment. I will undergo weekly treatments of Rituxan starting next week. I am 49 years old, and very active. I am a dancer, choreographer, and teacher, and hope and pray for many more years to "do my thing". My wonderful husband has been by my side through it all, and I am thankful for that. I just need to hear hope and '"positives" from other folks. Please write me back. Thanks so much.. Barbara0

Hi, I had stage 3, aggressive lymphoma in 1993 and so far am cancer free. I had it in every lymph gland in my body. I actually died and they brought me back. I had chop chemo for six sesssions every three weeks. I am blessed but still seem to be more tired than most people my age. I play tennis daily and do pool aeorbics daily. I still have cat scans and still am scared to death every time. As I said my messenteric glands have enlarged but still test negative for lymphoma. Keep fighting and have a positive attitude. hi I have had 8 treatments of chop and rixtuian. My question is that I have had all of these treatments and now they are not sure if I have new cancer or not. I was very sick and they took a cat scan and saw new spots and than - I took a pet scan and they where bigger. Could it be because I was sick or is it more cancer . The Dr. doesn't know and I can't be tested for a couple more months it is just scarey. I would like to say I beat this, I was staged at stage 3.sla said:Hi, I had stage 3, aggressive lymphoma in 1993 and so far am cancer free. I had it in every lymph gland in my body.
