I hate the look on the doctor's face

in Head and Neck Cancer #1
When they are looking at something that isn't good. I have bronchitis. My daughter had it before I did. I have been coughing and hacking for three weeks thinking I could beat it and pretty much avoided the GP. This morning I decided that I have had enough I ran to urgent aid to get some antibotics. Because I told him I had been sick for 3 weeks he made me do a chest x-ray. I told him I really didn't want one(I glow) - I knew it was bronchitis. He got kind of stern and told me that I was going to have one. I have a mass in my lung.(Bronchitis too) He said it could be an infection. Yea, like I believe that. So Monday I get to make phone calls and get another ct done. Keep me in your prayers.- Judy

    Well that's what I am praying it is. I am sorry that you are going through this stress. I know it's scary and I will pray for strength and calmness for you. Also praying that your bronchitis heals quickly.

    Hi, Judy. Best wishes and prayers headed your way. I'm sure we all know how hard it is to not think the worst when something like this happens since that is human nature. However, I was told "A lump is just a lump until it's something else". So, best of luck to you and try to not worry too much about this. I also have a very important meeting this week with a chemo onc and I am on pins and needles as well. So, let's both get good news this week.

    I know it sounds bad but hang in there until you get more test done as x-rays don’t always tell the true story. I like everyone here will keep you in extra prayer.

    My last chest x ray they said they saw a nodule and so for a week I thought I had lung cancer. not much fun. They sent me to get a CT scan and it came back normal. What they saw on my lung was just a shadow that happens quite often. Keep positive,

    You most probably do have an infection going on and it is not C. I imagine that cancer survivors go through this every time something happens. Hope you get the CT scan soon and can put your mind to rest.
