thinking of you
Mary -- thinking of you. I hope the radiation treatment goes well -- and that you and your medical team come up with some good options for post-radiation chemo. I know it's hard to 'get on that horse' again - but, we do!
I'm currently on chemo and due to start radiation in a week or two (there's a waiting list!). I'm all "inked up" and ready to go! Mine is tomotherapy....not sure if that is similar......
Sending all good thoughts your way.

Hi Mary,
I hope your treatments work beyond your dreams and you find a chemo mix that helps as well.
Best of luck,

quick search sounds like this is similar to what I am receiving, probably just a different machine delivering the radiation, although it sounds like the "beam on" time is longer than what I am receiving. Imagine a waiting list for radiation, that's just unbelievable! I'll be watching to see how yours goes as well! And so, we fight on!

I didn't realize you were going through so much at this time. Wishing you nothing but the best outcome from this and future treatments. Hang in there.

goes well with your sterotatic radiation...Robert did it back in Nov in his liver and first scan showed lesion smaller..and is expected to keep shrinking.

You know it's always good to hear when somebody else has good results with a treatment you are embarking upon! Yay for shrinkage! Grandkids are the BEST!!!!!

I'll be having treatment 5 days a week for 3 weeks -- but somewhat different.
There is only one such machine in Hong Kong (maybe 2 now). The waitlist is 3-4 weeks, and the machine is fully occupied from 8am til 9:30pm!
My starting date has been postponed -- probably till 28 Feb. Bit frustrating -- I wanted to get started and get it finished! But, if this Journey has taught me nothing else, it has taught me that I don't get to control the universe!
Hope your second treatment went well. Thinking of you!
Love,
Tara0
