Aw you know you are
Aw you know you are counting(I know I am). Glad you can eat what you want to soon. I know that knowing you couldn't stop to pee only made it worse I get that. Hope you are doing well, get my trace dose on Monday and bodyscan Wednesday. Do you know how long it takes to get the results?0 -
Okay, so I am counting; the minutes and seconds. I really miss my favorite foods. I.e. Jalapeno poppers (smothered in Ranch dressing) and pizza (with pepperoni, mushroom and bacon). Major no-no's on the LID.skcalkins said:Aw you know you are

They should be able to tell you the same day as your scan. When I had my last scan they gave the results to the Radiologist and he came in to talk to me within about 20-30 minutes. I will have my scan on Friday, exactly a week from my treatment. Hoping to hear on Monday what my Tg results were. Hopefully still undetectable. If not, that means that the cancer started to metastasize again before my treatment. I tend to move quickly like that unfortunately.
My Nuclear Medicine doctor told me not to take my Steroids until forty-eight hours after my treatment; and this morning I woke up with HORRIBLE salivary pain. I should have gone ahead and taken them when I ate dinner last night like I did with my first treatment. I took them this morning after my egg white breakfast with some Ibuprofen and I am feeling better. Drinking lots of Green Tea and sucking on Jolly Ranchers to keep my salivation going. I really hope there will be no permanent damage. I was so glad and thankful that the first dose didn't cause any damage.
Good luck with your scan on Wednesday and keep me posted when you have a chance.

Mmmmmmmmm.......Pizza with lots of cheese, Reese's peanut butter cups and a huge glass of ice cold milk sounds really good. I guess I will go have my bland salad and fruits now. Hang in there my friend, nothing lasts forever.

Going to find out the results of my FBS today, took the stupid radiologist long enough to send it. My Endo had to call them to find out what the hold up was, my Endo's office called me at 7:45 a.m to tell me to come in today so we can dicuss it. Hate that I had to go a another weekend of not knowing but so ready to get starting with this.
How was your first meal? Mine was not good Hubby decided we would stop at Checkers and my burger was cold, shake was so thick we had to crank up the heat and hold it in front of the vents to do the melt and stir...lol. Fries were the only good thing about it but oh well at least for the moment I can eat what I want.
Hope you are doing well!
