Hi Pepe, I'm here... I just haven't posted much lately, but I've been reading everyone's posts daily. Rick is doing well, except that he's a little sore after falling on the ice the other day. If you look a the picture at the following link, you'll see what I drove by on the way home from work during Tuesday's snowstorm. It actually made MSNBC's "Picture of the Week"! :-)

    Argh!
I just typed a great long response to you and it just went away!

I am HERE! I am struggling with the Xeloda pill. I didn't have any problems with it by itself during radiation but in these cocktails...............I don't know. The pump, as annoying as it is, was much easier. The ascites don't help, BUT they are reducing significantly each day on Folfiri! Xelox didn't seem to make any difference with all the bad that comes with oxi. I'm kind of glad I had the allergic reaction and had to stop.

I am excited about the reducing fluid because that happened when I needed some serious encouragement. I am up here at this swim meet and up early to read my Bible (much better day when I do that) and go watch my girl swim her best event.

I pray you are doing well. Tell us where you are.........NED after surgery? Still doing radiation? You are a breathe of fresh air here!

    Fondly,

    Catherine

Hi Cath , good your fluid problems are getting better,
I see it is very early there , and I'm glad to know you got a great help by reading your bible! I wish I cut, but even been a believer it's been always difficult to me to deal with it! Difficult to understand!. Concerning to my self honestly I don't know very well where I'm ! ,Last results of pet, scans, and labs where showing nothing , so they decide to be in a kind of Standby, mode ! No surgery for the moment and not chemo too!, It may sound wonderful but drives me a little bit worried, I'm not good for watch and wait!, well the important is that I'm feeling great, and hope it's going to be like that for long time! Well that's the story , enjoy of your daughter and her swimming
Hugs Cath, hope to see you more often here!.
