One bookallmost60 said:I will Kellie
My aunt is just finishing up reading it and she said it was great and she learned so much. She has been battling breast cancer recurrances for the last 12 years. Seems she falls out of remission like clock work, every 3 years. Anyways...I'm anxious to get it and start reading. Love..Sue (FNHL-2-3A-6/10)
Not been reading much due to headaches until recently becuz I found out one med was the one that mostly caused my headaches so I stopped using it. Now better! So now am reading more. Just done with one book, "Never Give In" by Arlen Specter, former PA Senator who had Hodgkins Lymphoma. It is rather dry becuz it talked a lot of politics but at the end I am glad to learn that he had a great influence on the legislative level to put funds into NIH for cancer research, etc. plus encourage people not to give in and do more for themselves, although, he is not normal compared to us!! Too active while he was sick but good for him!
I started to get hooked on TV PBS's Poirot crime mystery series - will check others that you recommend.
I will check into movies and books you mentioned. THANKS!
