about muscle and joint pains
I had experienced the same but after awhile it all went. I am 14 months in remission and still feeling pains in my abdomen and an occasional muscle pain. Doc says not to worry unless it is unbearable and it's up to me to request a Ct., but he would hold off unless it becomes absolutely necessary. Sooooo, here I am trying to get used to the aches and pains. Hope it gets better soon. June0 -
Joint pain
Hi Nan
Yes I am experiencing joint pain all OVER my body even in my toes sometimes. I finished Taxol/Carbo on 8 Dec '10 and the pains didn't start till about 2 weeks after all treatment finished!!!! I was taking 1000mg of Naproxen daily but this really hasn't made much difference so i've stopped taking it. I'm taking cod liver oil tablets and Glucosamine but have only been on them for about 2 weeks so it's early days yet. The worst pain is in my knees and fingers, it's a real bummer!!!
Bright Blessings.

Michelle,
The pain started for me exactly 2 weeks after, as well. I am having some success with Naproxen, but I will try the Glucosamine too. Let me know if it works for you over time. I went to see my 8 month year old grand niece the other day. That made me forget about it the most!
Thanks,

I had the above cocktail 2 yrs ago and do remember some achiness in my joints and bones. I found some type of movements -- possibly yoga and/or some walking -- did help. It seems to force some of the bad toxins from the drugs thru the body.
Today I've got some side affects from treatments in my lower back/sciatica...not fun! Many have recommended taking Aleve -- 2 tablets every 12 hours... It does help!
Good luck!
