Pulmonary fibrosis following lung radiation treatments.

I underwent 36 radiation treatments following a left upper lobe resection for sclc which hadn't responded to chemo. During the treatments I complained of increasing SOB and was told..'there's a lot of that going around". Aproximately 6 weeks after completion of the treatments I found myself hospitalized with pneumonia and pulmonary fibrosis which I was told was a result of the radiation treatments. I am now on portable O2 full time. Does anyone know if this is reversible?

I just got out of hospital after 3 weeks due to Strep-pneumonia. It was terrible as I was on oxygen for the first two weeks. 96ish of o2 in blood , all is good....but now I can not do too much at all without SOB, the SOB scared me so much I do not wish to push anything to get me in that position of SOB again.
I am not a canidate for o2 they say, they also said my fibrosis and emphysema is the cause of the SOB. They also mentioned physical therapy.... Anyway...I am seeing a pulminologist this afternoon, there will be much to discuss!!
Thanx
