Hi Lourdes,
I was a Katy, TX resident for 20 plus years up until a couple years ago. My husband is an avid rider - I an occasional back seat paasenger. We took the same ride you did several times! Glad you are back on the road, it is a liberating feeling!
Best,

You Ride Girl
What a blessing for you to be able to back on that bike and to enjoy something you love so much. Plus the weather here in Texas has been great for the last few days although that is about to change..... It was 78 yesterday and on Wed it's not going to get out of the 20's Gotta love Texas... I am so happy for you and I hope things only to get better.
God Bless from you Texas Brother

Hi Lourdes
I'm jelous and also a biker. Had my butt sewed up in sept. I'm hoping I am ready to ride in the spring chemo will be finished at the end of march. Guess I should look into a hernia girdle huh? I never thought of that, but I do have a colostomy to be concerned about.
What do you ride?
Ive got an 02 hd fatboy and a new08 ultra classic. plan on selling the fatboy this year.

I have a 2001 Suzuki. My husband had it painted and he added new saddlebags, pipes, tip fender covers. He told me it would be ready, when I was ready and he was right. I too have a colostomy and a hernia. My butt did not hurt. I had my colon resection done in April 2009. It was connected at the point of colon meets rectum so for 6-8 months it was uncomfortable. I took my chance yesterday. It was ok. I do have a good gel seat on there. I worry sometimes if I did get hurt, they would have too stop chemo, but hey got to live it up when you can....LOL Look us up on Texas Free Riders. Hope to meet some of you guys out there riding....Blessings from Lourdes0 -

Good for you. If you bike to the falls let me know; I live ~ 1.5 hours away. If you are into wine, the Niagara region is prime wine country.0
