Cheeky
My inner cheeks are also thick, but not sure if anymore than befoe...I've always had a problem with biting my cheeks..
I do know the right side of my neck or throat is much more dense or hard feeling than the left...right receiving a higher concentration of radiation than the left.

I think I was chomping on my inner cheeks for a while due to the dry mouth. When I found my mouth really dry, I would (and occasionally still do) have to blow air into my mouth to puff out my cheeks (Louis Armstrong style) and that would stop the chomping. I think if you chomped enough, you may have developed some scar tissue which would quite likely perpetuate this problem.
I Suppose someone can now invent a 'Cheekometer' and take before and after measurements, and see if there is a change.

Yep. Cheek chomping going on here as well. These are informative posts. I was thinking it was happening because I'm some kind of uncoordinated moron. Nope. Just another of those side effects that keep on giving.

I suppose when your lips and teeth keep sticking to your mouth they would be easier to bite.0 -

I'm having the same problem. Inside my mouth, on right where I had neck dissection, it seems swollen. I have dentures and it still hurts to put upper and lower in at the same time. However, if I just put the top in that's when i bite down on the swollen part of my cheek. I haven't started radiation yet, so mine is just still swollen from surgery I had on May 30, 2012. I guess, question is, how long does it take for this swelling to go down?0 -

I notice swelling/thickening inside my cheeks right after I eat and then it subsides.0
