stopping in to say hello

I seem to be feeling better, spent a few days sleeping unitil 12pm, I feel like a teenager!!! (not really). I am just wondering if the snow will ever stop! it is crazy, you cannot open the door. I live in Philadelphia and we are being hammered. I am saddened by the news on the board and i am hoping for good outcomes for everyone. I have my good luck charms and i think they are working, i am still positive that we will all beat this, i am looking forward to being back on the beach in a couple months! Not health related, but some good news, my first Social Security disabilty check went in the bank today, so i spent this morning paying bills. If you are not aware, IBC and stage 4 cancers are almost always an automatic approval for SSD, there is a 6 month qualifying period and sometimes it may be retroactive. If you need info on this, let me know. love to all

    Glad to hear you are feeling better. Sleeping til 12 must be wonderful. I can't remember the last time I was able to do that! You certainly must have needed it. Glad to hear you were able to get SSD. I am sure it helps reduce your stress level.

    When Moopy was in the hospital, I would buy the STAR and the ENQUIRER and we would discuss the really important issues of the day together. We always pretended you were there with us - as a fellow Enquiring Mind!

    Happy that you are feeling better! And sleeping until noon has healing powers, haven't you heard? LOL!

    Take care in all that snow! Glad that we live a bit inland this winter, as most of it is missing us.
    Keep thinking about the beach and the warm sunshine!

    Thanks for dropping in, I was wondering just how you were doing. Glad to hear that you are getting the restful sleep that you need. Great news on the SSI and as others have said I'm sure that reduces some of the financial burden. Take care and I am still sending positive vibes and strength to help you through these times.     I am so happy to hear from you and it is especially good news that you are feeling a little better. You don't want to hear about the weather in Lousiana right now--we have hellish summers but it is lovely right now--highs in the 60's and sunny. I know, I know--I'll shut up before I get hammered from my Northern buddies! I bought my pretty little votive (my photo) last week and I know keeping it lighted will bring lots of good luck!

    sound strong, mentally healthy and Fighting you way to another finish line.

    My mouth drops open every morning when watching 'Good Morning American', all the snow and cold weather .... and yet another storm -- coming later this week-end! Bless you all.

    Thank you for also posting - about the long term disability available thru Social Security. Its about darn time, our Government starts to provide for Cancer Patients!

    Hopefully, it melted a little today and you can open your door. It snowed really hard here (in Maryland) for about 4 hours late yesterday afternoon. In that 4 hours we got a foot of snow. I am so ready to say goodbye to winter. Glad to hear from you, though. Glad too to hear about your SS check. Things are looking up. Just keep thinking positive and keep thinking about the beach!

    so great to hear positive news from you. You sound energetic? Angels are watching over you! I think the beach sounds like a wonderful thought to keep you going. Welcome to the SSD! I started to collect 3 years ago after 11 surgeries left me unable to drive a car for 18 months. I had to resign from a job I really loved for 18 years. I have my SSD checks automatically deposited and it's great!

    Sounds like you're getting
    some good R&R (except for paying the bills).

    You can send some snow down here in Texas. It's hilarious to see us when it does snow...talk about time standing still! We don't know what to do...LOL!
