Lunch
There were 11 of us yesterday. 7 were cancer survivors! Here's the breakdown:
2 - endo cancer
2 - breast cancer
1 - malignant melanoma
1 - thyroid cancer
1 - lymphoma
1 - kidney cancer
It was a little shocking . . . 63%!

That is just unbelievable that so many of you had cancer. Was there anything environmental in your home town that would raise questions?
Linda

I'm like VickiSam, I had two of those (endo, breast and also bladder and skin) and I didn't have lunch or go to school with you either. It would be interesting to see what the risk factors are and if you share those or if there is indeed another link to these cancers. I think that the statistics are 1 in 8 woman will develop breast cancer but I don't know know what they are for the other cancers.
Hope that you had a great lunch and enjoyed your day.
