Hello everyone My name is Kelly i'm 31 years old and I have just discovered I am again facing the old friend named cancer...I say that because honestly It did make me a stronger person for the 5 years that I was cancer free...So I consider this a couple of bumps in my lifes road and will take them slowly and dodge what I can...Then when Its all over Ill drive off right back towards the sun! I hope that maybe I can learn from anyone that has had this and maybe I can be helpful to a few of you as well, I have had tongue cancer 2 times now, had 1/3 of my tongue removed, been through 29 radiation treatments, and now it seems I am traveling this road again!     Sorry to hear you have to go another round Kelly, once is enough for anyone. There are a lot of two (or more) timers on the board and they are testament to the fact that you can beat this. "Dodge what I can", I like that. You look like you have more family around you to love you this time, and everyone here will be praying for you and offering their help.

    I really appreciate those prayers, and it's always a breath of crisp clean air to have people that you can relate to and understand what you've been through..I was a member here before and it was always a relief to talk to others after a tough bit of news or a trying day at treatment.. I have some of the best family and friends that anyone could dream to have and am so thankful for each of them!
