3 year old w/BC
Youngest I had heard of before this was a 10year old. When will they find the cause?
Keep this wee one in your prayers.
Peace to all

Wow...no one should have to
Wow...no one should have to go through this, but 3 years old? My heart goes out to her and her family.0 -
It's bad enough
It's bad enough when it happens to one of us. I can't imagine a 3 year old going thru treatment -- I know they do for other cancers too.
Someone needs to quit futzing around and find a cure.

I'm just heartbroken and sick over this story. Thankfully I did not see this story on TV or I would have lost it right then and there. This is so unfair to a sweet little child. Children are supposed to be free to run and play and enjoy their lives without a care in the world. They are not supposed to have this ugly sickness attack them. Oh God please let them find a prevention for the ones who have never had cancer and cure for those of us that do! I HATE CANCER!!!!!!!

This is very sad, I hope
This is very sad, I hope with the advancements in research today she will be OK. This is why my Oncology surgeon went into being an Oncology surgeon/Dr. because his sister died from it. BUT that was over 50 yrs ago! He is also continuing research in a breast cancer vaccine.0 -

news, as we live in the 21 Century - not the 1800's.

How bizarre. This sounds
How bizarre. This sounds like it came from the pages of The Enquire. I feel for the girl and her family. God bless her.

It is quite sad that a child
It is quite sad that a child so young could get a form of breast cancer. Glad they got it in time.
My 11 year old daughter told me about a lump in her little developing breast over the holidays. She waited a week before telling me and said she didn't want to have chemo. Well, by the time we got to the doctor almost a week after that the lump had reduced in size. The doctor who is very good said it is highly unlikely it would be cancerous and we need to keep an eye on it. In girls her age it is usually a cyst. I admit I was relieved to hear that however I feel there are the exceptions to the rule and we can't be so dismissive of it. Admittedly the lump has reduced even more in size and she thinks it started when a friend elbowed her by accient in her breast.0
