chemo doctor

Jorge has chemo doctor tomorrow and blood work. jorge wants to ask the chemo doctor is he should stay on chemo longer to see if the tumor in the colon will get smaller and maybe fall off of his back so it will be easier for the surgeon I don't want jorge to go for surgery anymore I just want him to stay on chemo because he's doing so good on it .

    I have no idea what is best, but I pray you two will make the right decsion for Jorge.

    Not sure what to tell you about the treatment, you both have to decide on that, but it sounds like the doctor has been very upfront with you. Let your heart decide on whats best for you and go from there. It's always a hard decision but it really ends up being your hubby's decision whether he wants to continue treatment and not you. Please be patient with his decision and accept it. He might want one thing and you another, but always give your input. He needs you right now. Just be there for him.

    Gail thank you so much .Kim yes for sure its up to him and I will always stand by whatever he wants to do . I just say I don't want him to do it because if the doctor don't get it all then the cancer would go like wild fire thru his body and I was thinking if they don't go in and cut the cancer it will stay where it is . thank you hugs Tina

    For what it's worth....

    There's usually better survival rate among those that have surgery
    to remove cancerous tumors, than those attempting to fight it with
    chemicals or radiation alone.

    Very often, surgery alone results in great success.

    If surgery is possible, it's usually better to opt for that, statistically.

    Guess with this disease you never know what or where it wants to show it's ugly head. Good luck. It is such a hard decision. I'm thinking and praying for you both.
