Jim will get the results of his 6 month post-treatment PET scan this morning.
Asking for prayers for God's will, His mercy and grace.
Original tumor site looks good with the exception of some inflammation around the edges, likely caused by the treatment.
PET also showed an area which was there last time but the uptake has increased enough that we have an appointment with the ENT tomorrow to discuss biopsy of that area and those around the original tumor which look inflamed. Dependent upon the outcome of the biopsy, surgery may have to take place.
Will let you know how the doctor's appointment goes tomorrow and when the biopsies are scheduled.
Thanks, everyone, for your thoughts and prayers.
Hugs!
