Sorry
So sorry for your trouble...can you get another Radiation Doc or go to another cancer center? There is no reason you should have to deal with that kind of thing. This chemo nurse helped me get some burn cream after they had given me 2nd degree burns. My point...you got to get the help where you can.
Take care and good luck.0 -

I am so sorry about all of this. It isn't right. Would you or could you see another rads oncologist to get a 2nd opinion and help?
Good luck and let us know,

The staff have samples of burn creams in the office so just go to the nurse and ask for some when you need them. I worked all through my rads...I had to drive 50 miles to the clinic every morning at 7:00, have my treatment, and then drive on back to work. I have to say I never experienced any fatigue. I did get some bad burns the last week of treatment , but the cream healed them quickly...I only actually saw the Rad. Onc. once a week to go over things, the rest of my questions were handled by the techs and nurses...Don't assume that you will have all the bad side effects....most of us don't....but if you do have a concern, insist on talking to your Onc. Good luck.

Hate to sign like a broken record, but, do see about getting another opinion. Sometimes we just have to be our own advocates.
Good luck,
