I am sad today, but not without hope....
We (local group) still have one 10+ year survivor. She was diagnosed at stage IIIc and did the standard carbo/taxol routine and has never had a recurrence.
Never, ever give up. Where there is breath, there is hope.

I'm so sorry you lost your friend & long time survivor. Thank you for posting a little about her. It's inspiring to hear that someone lasted so long without significant remissions and managed to work full time too! Thank you also for your message of hope.0 -
So sorry
I am very sorry for your loss, your friends sounds like an incredable lady. Keep her in your heart, but stay focused on your clinical trial next week. Maybe someday because of you there will be a cure..stay strong...val0 -
SO SORRY, CARLENE
Sorry to hear about Kathy. I have a friend who's sister's friend is also very, very ill. But there are many encouraging stories as well, and those are the ones we must hold on to and see as hope for all of us. I don't know if and when we will ever see a cure, but some progress in treatment options, detection, etc. would be much welcomed.
Sending hugs and prayers.
