weight loss idea

WOW !
What a good idea. I like how you think!
Since I still have radiation ahead, I'm not allowed to "diet", but I am trying my best to not eat after dinner, not have second helpings and to watch my portion size. I figure this is a start.
Good luck in trying to lose weight...I'm chomping at the bit to get the go-ahead to do the same.
Hugs,

On board with that idea!
My gym has a digital scale that you can change to weigh in either kilograms or pounds. One time, I stepped on it without realizing that the person before me must have changed it to kilos....looking at the number, for a brief glorious moment, I thought the Weight Loss Fairy had brought me a miracle!

we use kg at the hospital I work at to base everything on meds etc... Yes it would be funny then you have to multiply it by 2.2 not so funny ! But ya know reality is really overrated. The weight loss fairy where is she?0 -

Thanks
I wanted to lose the proverbial 10 pounds before I went on a cruise. I used the book called "The Flat Belly Diet". Thought the first 4 days were going to do me in, but I stuck it out and lost the 10 pounds. Did not gain an ounce on the cruise. Came home continued on the 'diet' and lost another 10. The first 10 came off before spring break 2009 (started Jan. 2009) and the other 10 came off when we got back and end of May. It is now Jan. 2011 and it is still off! I don't follow the diet as closely now as I used to, but it's still off!
If you choose to do this, I hope you have as good of luck as I do. I am going yoga as my exercise plan.
I was diagnosed with bc 2/10 and am recovering from treatment. I lost 7 pounds during treatment and am trying to re-gain it now. I still don't have much of an appetite...
Take care,
Betsy0
