Neo continues
He started chemo for his small cell lymphoma last Thursday. It's really hard to give him these drugs that we know can make you feel like crap. But so far he is handling it really well. Just hope it works for him and buys him some time. He is being very sweet and loving. He goes in to see his onc next week for blood work. My onc said I should be wearing gloves when I clean up after him so I don't come in contact with the chemo. Kind of scary.
Blessings,
Leslie

Hi Leslie,
Sounds like Neo is doing better with his chemo than I did...I sure wasn't very loving or sweet while taking the pred!!haha!(gosh I'm glad thats done)!!! Seriously though...I AM happy to hear that Neo is handling the chemo. Sure hope it works and make him all better. Keep us informed..Neo is officially one of the "peeps" now. (o:

I'm glad to hear he seems to be doing well. I know chemo really stinks and I can imagine he doesn't have a clue what's going on. I wonder if he's going to be looking behind him for that bus soon?
Hopefully not, but do know it's hard. Take care,

Neo the cat
Hi Leslie, My first reaction was a big smile on my face. God Bless you, another animal lover. I have 2 babies, Portia and Lucien. I love them dearly, and would do anything for them. Remember animals do so much better than humans. Another prayer going your way to Neo.

Hi Sue, Beth and Maggie,
Neo thanks you for thinking of him. He likes being one of the peeps, they taste good, LOL. Today he has thrown up, not so good as I hope this isn't a sign of things to come. If he does it again I'll need to call he onc vet for nausea medication. And his chemo is due in about an hour, hope he doesn't toss that up too.
Anyway, thanks so much to all.

Leslie,
I too pray for Neo's health. It is harder for me to see that your dear pet cat is suffering because he as a cat cannot communicate much, you know? I have 2 cats. One is Gemini and the other is Paris. My best friend, Paris watches over me and actually saved me once when I was quite ill two months ago. Now, Paris threw up from eating her food from time to time. I do hope she does not get sick. Anyway, I hope all the treatments work well for Neo. If you can get a pic of him, I'd love to see that and root for all of you!

Hi Liz,
Thank you for your kind words and prayers. These darn cats are just so very sweet. I do believe Paris did save you as I think cats are very intuitive. I'll try to post a picture and see how that goes.
Hope your feeling better today. Do take care and pamper yourself.
Blessings,
Leslie0
