LadyG,
I will be there in
LadyG,
I will be there in spirit holding your hand and rubbing your shoulder and whisperin to just breath. The anxiety is very natural and totally understandable. I try to live by the phrase Don't borrow trouble. It does help me to realize that I can't change whatever they might find with any given test and worrying before a test only robs me of today. It doesn't always work but mostly it does. Again, big cyber hugs coming to you and imagine the room will be crowded with all of us in there with you. Prayers that all is good are being said.

Absolutely Georgia! You are
Absolutely Georgia! You are fresh out of tx so I think it's normal to carry some doubt at test/mammo time. It will be 5yrs in May for me and I still hold my breath waiting for the other shoe to drop. We will definitely be there in cyber space to support you

Can you feel us??? Once we join this family we are never alone again; especially for anxiety-provoking appointments!!

It's scary, I know, but we'll be there with you, and we'll wait for the results, too cause we know the waiting is sometimes the hardest part.

I know exactly how you are feeling! I was scared (no, make that TERRIFIED) for my first mammo. Can you take someone with you? I went alone and wished I had someone there. My second one was much easier!

Of course you are terrified!
Of course you are terrified! That is a perfectly normal response for a breast cancer survivor after all you have been through. But please know that we are with you every step of the way. Sending you all of my cyber strength. And praying hard for a happy day today.0 -

1st Post-treatment Mammogram
I had a mastectomy in Feb. 2010 followed by 16 rounds of chemo. The last round was in August. No radiation. I had my 1st post-treatment mammo in December. I almost had a stroke when I got a letter asking me to come in for "more views for a complete evaluation." Of course, that letter came on a Friday. I went for a 2nd mammo AND an ultrasound. Bottom line: dense overlapping breast tissue; come back in a year. It was a tense few days I assure you. You most definitely have our support. As my teenagers say, been there done that!0 -
