Houston update-MIL update

Hi All,
Thanks for all the well wishes and advice. I am safely in Houston with only minor problems getting here. Plane had a broken something in Dallas, but we are here as of 9 last night.
My first appointment is at 10 tomorrow so I plan on arriving at 9. I was told to use the valet and that they/dr will validate it for me. Hope that goes well.
I have other news. My mother in law passed away this morning around 6 am. My husband is a mess as is the rest of us. I know that I need to be here in Texas, but all I want to do is go home to be there with Keith and my family. We will see how tomorrow goes and take it one day at a time. I had planned on being in Houston till Sat. but that may/will change.
Please say a prayer for Keith and his mom, Delores. Such sad news, but expected..
I will keep you all posted through out this new adventure.

    Lisha,
    It may have been expected,but it is still hard to take. I will keep Keith and all concerned in my prayers. Give'em hell in Texas. Tell them you are there to get help(I know you will).     I plan on given them hell.. I want to get well. I am so tired of this, it's time to move on..I'll do my best to keep all of you informed on my progress. Such a sad day even the weather is sad and gloomy.

    Dear Lisha,
    Dang...I so hoped Delores would hold steady until your trip to Texas was completed. My heart goes out to you and Keith and you have my deepest sympathy. Hang in there Lisha and try to stay strong with positive thoughts...I just have to believe you will get some solid answers and a good plan of attack for getting your cancer in remission. Try to rest today and know you are in my thoughts and prayers.

    You have my deepest condolences. I sense that you have a strong family support system so that your husband is using some support while you are not there for now.

    Lisha,

    Can it get any worse than your beloved Delores passing away? I can't imagine how isolated you must feel not being home with Keith and sharing his pain. If at all possible, try and stay focused on yourself. Each day you are at MD Anderson brings you closer to new possibilites.
    I am not in your shoes. I know if my Fred were here, he would tell me, "take care of yourself please." "I don't want to lose you too."

    I told you in a past post, I would pray for you each day. I now added Keith and Delores to my prayers.
