I am completely petrified when the date of my appointment approaches then become eerily calm as I sit in the exam room. The doctors seem to be awe of their work. I know that I am incredibly blessed. I attribute the strength that I feel to the wonderful people on this site. I realize that the cancer can return. However, I will not dwell on it. That is of course until my next appointment.

    Same Here
I, too, fret before the scans, but am calm the day of. Here's to you never being a dirty girl again (as far as the oncologist's team is concerned).

I guess we all handle everything pretty much the same. I worry right untill the day of my appointment & then I calm down.

    Worry...
I think it's typical for most of us to worry about an upcoming scan. Actually, I don't worry about the scan, it's after the scan while I'm waiting for the results that I start to worry about the results. I'm am finally on a 6 month schedule so I have more "worry free" time in between scans.

Wonderful news that your scan was clean!!!

    Keep on enjoying life,

    Going through it now
Yep, my next scans are on the 17th and I'm getting anxious and totally understand. Maybe I can take two showers today. Congrats on your cleanliness!
