I thought I’d update everybody now that I’ve been on Questran now for about a week. The results have been life changing. I’m now having regular BM’s about 5 times a day. I know to some people 5 times might be a lot but I was going 40 to 100 times a day with NO control!! I couldn’t take my kids to school or even go check the mail 50 yards from my house. So for those of you who have bathroom issues from chemo and or surgery asked your doctor if you can give it a try. It sure gave me my life back!!

Brooks is back!!!

    Brooks...
I can sooooooo relate to that pooping issue. I finally got mine under control too and it is so WONDERFUL. I too felt like I was in jail....toilet jail!!!! I only go 1 time per day now..... it freaked me out cause I thought something was wrong!!! Thought maybe I was getting backed up..... hubby has to tell me EVERYDAY... "Honey, that IS normal.... 25+ times a day...is NOT!!!! Life is good huh?????? Take care........... Jennie

    Wonderful News
How well I know the pure joy of crapping like a normal man. I have gone 3 times today. Yesterday only 2. We just have to retrain ourselves. My goal is once a day, just like before the resection. I will get there. Gets better each and every day.

    Very interesting info John
Still sounds like a potentially effective drug but its good to be aware of all the facts something the doctors don't do.

    Hi Brooks,

I'm so glad to hear it!! Thanks for sharing how you're doing and about the medication for others in need of help in that area.

    You go!
