Hi Hondo, sorry you have to spend your time, and your money, for such a visit. When I sign in on the "sign in" sheet, I often notice that one to two other people have the same appointment time with the same doctor, especially my ENT.
Like others have mentioned, my ENT flips through my record before he begins. This ENT should have regained his composure enough to apologize. That's what I do when I screw up at my job, what most of us do.
I've had some great docs, and know you have also. I hope your visit causes the ENT to think. And especially I hope your next visit with him or another ENT finds you with a more caring and professional person.
best, Hal
I got to say my first visit with this ENT was great, he found the problem as to why I was having so much Pain in my head, but this time it was more like Doctor Jackal and Mr hide, not even the same person.
But I did pray and ask God if this was the right ENT for me to please let me know. Looks like he did, oh the power of pray.
Thanks my friend0 -

Time to find a new doctor. I changed mine because he was not outright truthful in his initial diagnosis. Told me as I was being wheeled in for my first biopsy that he knew I had cancer the first time he saw me, this after his nurse called and gave me "Negative" results on a needle aspiration. Never went back and changed treatment facilities entirely. You are a tolerant good hearted person but leave his butt in the dust!
It is best to find out before hand that you and the doctor don’t match-up then after he does his dance on you. I am frustrated but also glad I found out now.

ENT
Sounds like you definitely new a new ENT to me. I fired my original ENT after going through my surgery and chemo and radiation. I want someone who at least has some compassion for me and is concerned about my care. Unfortunately some of these people are about seeing as many patients as they can see and how much money they can make. I may sound bitter but that is just the way it is. I have now found a ENT that has true concern for me and takes time to answer my questions. I realize all these people are very busy people, however they are treating human beings and should have a good bedside manner. After all they may walk in our shoes someday themselves.0 -
What a Doofus!
Hondo:
What a doofus he sounds like. I wouldn't have warm fuzzies either and you know what a basketcase I can be! Fortunately, Charlie's ENT was great and was the one who found the cancer in the first place. As a matter of fact, when he got the biopsy report back and called the onc. office for an appt. they told Charlie he was booked for six weeks; Charlie called the ENT's office back, told them, the recept. called and they told her the same thing and when the recept. told the ENT; he said that s--- isn't going to get it and he called and then called Charlie and told him you and your wife be there at 10:45 Monday morning; this was on a Thurs. But hey, at least they don't book 4 people at the same time! The girls at the onc. office were very nice, it was just that Charlie's onc. is so great and sometimes hard to get in with; but we were blessed. I'll be praying for you too, and I wholeheartedly agree with the rest; I don't believe I'd be seeing this doofus again! Good Luck! God Bless!

You are so right after all I am not asking anything for free, I am paying him for what he is doing so at lease give me some quality time when I drive 300 miles for an appointment.
I think I will do a Willie Nelson and get on the road again looking.0
