Congratulations, Bob. It sure feels good to be through with the daily microwave, doesn't it? Now that they have cooked your neck, it is time to heal and feel good about being done. Good luck on your recovery and I hope it goes well.

I remember that day well...walking out of Providence Regional Cancer Partnership on the last day of treatment was such a relief. Enjoy this time and heal up!0 -

Feels good even if you are beaten down by treatment. Stay the course. Good things come again. Mark and I were just skiing in Quebec with my kids. There was no keeping up with him. He is 5 months post treatment. There is a natural part to recovery AND a part you have to work at. Like in the previous phase attitude is HUGE!
Good news. Journey on.

Bob,
Great news! Good luck with the recovery. Can't wait to read about your hiking adventures since I am sure you will get back to the trails soon! My husband, Joe, finished in November. Already it seems like a long time ago.
Kim,
I like your sentence "There is a natural part to recovery AND a part you have to work at." I think that is so true with so many things in life. Accepting what life gives us and working with it at the same time.
