Chen .. Thinking about you and how much you must be
missing, Reggie the girls and granddaughters. Siobhan keeping you busy? How are her classes going? I so envy her -- as you recall, I fancy myself a professional chef -- even tho, I'm not.
Hope you are staying busy and dry .. and enjoying 'your girl time'.
Strength, Courage and Peace ..

Thank you ladies! Siobhan
Thank you ladies! Siobhan and I ( I dare say) are having a better time than Reggie and the girls are! She and I had a Girl's Day the 26th~ Reggie had booked us a night at a hotel about an hour up the coast, right on the beach. The soggy California weather was BEAUTIFUL that day! We had a lovely drive, and checked into the hotel about noon. Awaiting us was a bottle of California sparkling wine. ( we brought it home with us) From there we walked to a local eatery and had fabulous crab stuffed poblano chiles. As we were walking back to our hotel about 3PM, we passed a bar~ and could hear live music playing! In the afternoon? Live music? Heck yeah we went it! We listened to music, danced a bit, and went back to the hotel. Relaxed, had some heart-to heart talk, and decided to have dinner at the hotel. Shared some oyster rockefellers and a filet. YUM
What could we do at 9PM? Walk back to the bar, of course! They had live bands playing all day/night long~so back we went! Danced, fended off foolish men, and mostly laughed and laughed and laughed! We were back to the hotel by about midnight. And after that?? One of the selling features of this hotel is that each room has a fireplace in the room and a seclude, private hot tub on each balcony! Overlooking the ocean! We soaked and talked and laughed for a good hour before we collapsed in utter exhaustion!
Part of the package is also breakfast goodies delivered to the room ...in a basket with a thermos of hot coffee, and juice in mason jars! The breakfast was delivered at 8AM and at 9 we has massages!!
After that we went for a great walk on the beach and watched the surfers having a blast! It was high tide, and the waves were awesome!
We were back home by noon on the 27th~ can you believe that we packed all of this in on 24 hours?????
My sweet Reggie, on the other hand, and BOTH of his daughters are down with some "bug", and they feel horrible. Thankfully he comes home tomorrow~I cannot wait to see him!!!!
Happy New Year, Kindred Spirits!!!!!
Hugs,

Well, I am sorry about Reggie and his girls and I sincerely hope he does not bring this bug back to you. That having been said you and Shiobban scored big time. What a awesome 24 hours that was. So much fun in so little time. And sharing it with your girl, how wonderful is that. It's so nice to have that one on one time every so often. When you laugh, share, and just talk. How sweet of Reggie to have done this for you. And how like him, the sweetheart. Enjoy having your guy back with you and enjoy the new year together. Hoping all your tests and treatments go well. My wish for all my dear family here is good health and happiness in 2011.
With love to all in 2011,
