FINAL UPDATE (SHOULD BE)
I had a Neck CT that also showed the top portion of my lungs. I initislly reported that the Neck Scan was clean. It was then reported back to me that the Radiologist saw 2 spots that did not appear to be anything to worry about, but given my history, I was sent for a full Chest CT and a follow up with a Thoracic Surgeon.
I am FINALLY glad to report that the Neck portion of my CT is clean, and after a scope and physical exam, my ENT is thrilled with my progress. I met with the Thoracic Surgeon this AM and I am also glad to report he is not concerned with these 2 spots and I can follow up with him in June with another CT.
I have not yet had my first PET, but I feel like as of today, I have held the beast at bay.
Here's to a great day for all of us to be had.
I love you guys, I owe my sanity to this group!!!

Mike,
Awesome Brother!! Can't wait for this spring, sitting on the deck at Clancy's, sipping a cold one (water, iced tea, whatever), eating (whatever we can get down), and talking how we beat this!!
You'll soon be hitting that spot where you're feeling better every day. Looking forward to seeing you next year!!
Happy Holidays!!

Yes sir, definitely looking forward to a little lunch at Clancy's. The eating seems to get just a little better each week, not a huge week over week improvement. I still do not think I will be at the buffet line anytime soon.
Merry Christmas my friend and I will be in touch in the future.

Congratulations Mike, The great report could not happened to a nicer guy. You were one of the 1st cancer survivers to reply to me after I had just found out my wife had cancer of the tongue. I really appreciated the response from everyone. You have always helped others on this website and you deserve "good news". At the time you 1st responded I was a "very worried husband". Although I will always be cautiously worried I know their is light at the end of the tunnel, thanks to people like you that take the time to make others feel better. "Bravo" keep up the good work and keep getting the great reports. Your Friend, Homer Price0 -

I am also cautiously worried. I do find that as each week passes I find my self less obsessed with the return of cancer. Good things come to good people, and I look forward to hearing of your good news in the not too distant future.
BEST!!
