good news...just got call

I had d & c last week..have an appt to gets results after the holidays...but the office called so not to worry over Christmas (honestly I was not worried-uncommon I know) so anyhow...no cancer, all clear-no surgery needed as we thought I may need...yipppeeee

next month is 3 yrs since this all started for me!

(D & C due to Tamoxifen side effects)

    Even though you weren't
    Even though you weren't worrying it is so nice that they called to tell you this. So many places do not take the potential for worry into account and just wait. And so glad that it was good. YAY!!

    I LOVE MY gyno
    I had him for years , moved out of town..changed dr...hated the new one at first visit-I called old dr back and he took me of course...very home town dr feel...he's great...

    yes it was great (he's away for 2 wks) so other Dr and then nurse took the time to follow up..
    IT will be nice to not be wondering..even though I was not nervous...strange i know..

    So many calls dont' get returned and I never even called..i just made my follow up appt for 2 wks since he was going to be away...

    not worried (odd)
    first time called back for mammo..thought no biggie,then sent for biopsy-said NO biggie...positive thinking didn't help me too much...I think since I never miss an appt so knew I kept up on it-next month 3 yrs since the start of all this

    they called to let you know all was ok before Christmas. Even if you weren't worried! My sister only had d & c once during the 5 years on Tamoxifen.

    the reason I had D & C this time and 6mths ago...so far ok...may it stay that way...thanks for good thoughts

    very sweet of nurse to call me to make Christmas even better!
