Cancer has changed me, in a crazy and wild way
I never would have done this before I got cancer, I would have never even thought to hop on a plan all alone and fly that far!
I would be a fool to pass this up, free place to stay, they will have a car and I won't have to be buying all my meals out! This is crazy, my husband has no desire to go and you know what? I was not letting that stop me.
So look out Europe, here I come!!

Live it up. Have a blast!
An opportunity of a lifetime! Go for it! What better way to visit with a seasoned tour guide. Great sights to see. Harrods shopping - changing of the guards - shows - oh so much fun. Remember they call it the Loo or the toilet.
Have fun and take pictures for us to see!
Best wishes,

Great
This is a great opportunity for you to do something you have never planned on doing. It's not crazy, this is a chance for you to do something you never planned, always wanted to do, but were reluctant to do. Now you have the perfect opportunity. You go girl and have an awesome time.

Way to go!
London is a great city, and you won't need the car, they have wonderful public transport!
There is probably a "walk on/walk off" self guided bus tour. I have used them in New York, Paris and Seattle, and it is probably one of the best ways to quickly become familiar with a new city.
Enjoy the trip!0 -
Good for you!
So glad you are taking this opportunity! When do you go? How long will you be gone?
I know you will have a fantastic time. So much to see and do.0 -
London
London is a great city! Make sure to see the Tower of London and close by the Imperial War Museum. (There are only a couple of historic war museums in the world.) All of the history in London is amazing. You will have a blast! Indian and Pakistani (Punjab) restaurants are some of the only good affordable food.
Wishing you safe travel!

We have done them in Paris, New York, Ottawa, San Francisco, Los Angelos.... The tour helps you to see the highlights of the city, then you can choose what to go back to. Sometimes the passes are good for two days.0 -
After my mom's mother
After my mom's mother passed, my mom went to Africa by herself. She went several times with the ease thatpeople go to Walmart. She told my dad these were his kids too and he could figure it out for a couple of weeks and if he couldn't call the pediatrician. With hotdogs in the freezer she went on her adventure and now that she has had colon cancer she is glad she has those memories. My dad will not travel unless there is a sporting event involved so she left him at home to pursue her dream of visiting Africa.
FOLLOW YOUR HEART! You will never regret it. She never did.0 -

Sometimes cancer is that "kick in the ****" that we all need from time to time.
Cherrio and enjoy!
Cherrio? lol please don't think all Brits say that, and no we don't all have tea and scones in the afternoon either. :-p :-p0 -

Hopefully Kathy and I will be meeting up too. I will teach her the Northern ways, while she gets an education down South. :-)
One of the best aspects of this whole trip is the opportunity to meet Sonia. It is amazing that we connected on the internet as we both were sick, and now the journey will take us to meet face to face ( for me on another contintent) But this is amazing!
