Ok friends here I go off to another fun filled day of being pumped up with toxic meds. Number 11 of 12 is here toddy and I'm ready to kick it's butt. Yes I'll be tired for a few days with some other side effects mixed in but it won't be that bad. It can't be tomorrow is my birthday and I need to eat cake with my chemo, LOL.

You are almost done. Bet at the beginning you thought this day would never come. So glad you're tolerating it reasonably well. Just want to wish you a very happy birthday too. And make sure you eat a big piece of cake and enjoy every bite. Hope things go well with this treatment.

Only one more to go!
I'm thinking you are probably home by now and resting. You have done #11... so now, only one more to get through! Congratulations!!! Hey, along with the "YAYAYAYA it's over!! No more chemo!!", don't be surprised if you feel a little let down and out of sorts. That is totally normal and very common for everyone when they finish their chemo. On the one hand, you are ecstatic that it IS over... but then you feel something akin to guilt because you miss the "attention" of knowing that there were nurses/doctors at your beck and call while you were on treatment... and then it just suddenly stops. Just thought I'd give you the heads up on that, should you find you go through it
HAPPY BIRTHDAY (well, tomorrow)!!!! You have lots to celebrate, besides being one year older
