Post Surgery PET & MRI Wednesday
You are all so wonderful and supportive here, although usually I just read, it's a comfort to know there are people here who understand.
He will also be talking to doctor on Friday when we get results, about esophageal dilitation. Swallow therapist says he needs it. He can't even swallow his own spit.
Hoping for good test results and a scheduled dilitation soon!

Went for pet scan and MRI today. Pet Scan was first on the list. Went well. Next was MRI. They got him back there, he had taken a couple of xanax prior to... He can't swallow his own spit and never lies flat on his back. SO - they get him all strapped in for MRI and he has to cough up spit, and they say well, this MRI will take 45 min and you can't move. No way he could do it.
Part of our discussion with doc on Friday will be esophageal dilitation, recommended by swallow therapist after barium swallow. That needs to be done, hopefully will have some success, and then we can try the MRI again I suppose, when he can swallow his own spit!
Will post on Friday after we get results of pet and scope (eeeee). Thanks for the prayers.0 -
