Thanks for the update. How many treatments are you having? Yup the neuropathy is a bad thing. I'm still dealing with it. Let your oncologist know if it gets too bad for you though. Sounds like you are getting everything done at once for Christmas. Love this time of year though and that's why my decorations are up for about six weeks. Have a great "off" week.

    Hi Natalie
I was wondering how you were doing. Thanks for the update. Looks like I'm not going to be getting my #4 round so you're going to be ahead of me. This FOLFOX club is like watching a slow motion horse race ... wondering who makes it to the finish line first. LOL

    Good to hear from you
I'm glad you let us know how you are! Hope you have a good week off the chemo. Do what you can about Christmas stuff, but give yourself permission to maybe eliminate some stuff this year. Take it easy.

    *hugs*

    Hi Braelee
Glad to hear from you, Braelee! Sorry about the numb fingers- it's definitely lousy. Make sure you're taking the alpha lipoic acid (my onc always asks me if I remember to take it- even though I've got about 90% of my feeling/use back in my hands, I still do have issues & don't have the fine motor skills that I used to). My onc insists alpha lipoic acid helps with that.

Enjoy the holidays and God bless-

    Thanks all
I am just trying to make this Christmas a good one. I don't want anything to be different for my kids just because I have Cancer. So Im doing my best I can do on my off weeks. My mom says Im like the Energizer Bunny. One week all I do is sleep and the next week I run around like crazy. LOL I just love Christmas and I want my kids to have the best on Ever.
The Kids and I made cookies this week. It was alot of fun. It made it even better that they were off of school for 2 days because of all the lake effect snow. What is better than Spending time with the kid, christmas music, the smell of cookies bakeing, and the snow falling outside. Can't ask for anything more than that.....
