Sue,
Make sure you take it extra easy heading into the final round. If you are like me it will take longer to make any comeback as far as building up your strenght at this point. You need to reserve as much as possible.I know it will be a couple of weeks off from #6,but you may have a lot of tiredness all day till then. You can usually tell if you wake up tired and feel like someone beat the sh?%t of you. If you do don't feel alone. I know that is how I felt.Mary warned me that would probably happen and it did.Still not back to 100%,but getting closer very slowly. John(FNHL-1-4A-5/10)

    draggin through my tracks..
    Hi John,
I knew after round 4 that 5 and 6 weren't going to be good. I rallied for about 3 days after R4 and even then it wasn't anything to write home about. The fatigue has been overwhelming at times, but I am so blessed to have family and friends that pick up the slack when I'm down for the count. My sons have kept the sidewalk, stairs and driveway shoveled non-stop on our snow days and Steve keeps everything done inside for me, including the laundry, house cleaning and cooking. It took me 4 days to do my inside Christmas decorating which use to take 4 or 5 hours before cancer decided to take up residency. Oh well...it is, what it is. This last round has really done a number on my hair. I was beginning to think I just might make it through treatment without significant loss, but it's finally starting to come out in bigger chunks...UGH! My hair guy is coming Friday and I'll see what he says about shaving my head, or just going "REALLY" short. At this point I'm too tired to really give a hoot...it's too cold and snowy to go out and about in public anyhow. I'm glad you are slowly getting your energy back. Thats is the one thing I'm anxious to experience again. I wish I was a napper...my body wants too, but for some reason my mind won't go there...sooooo...I'm doing alot of reading and little tiny household projects to pass away the hours. Every damn drawer in the house is organized and cleaned, since I could pull them out and sit on the floor to do it...ha! Thanks for checking in and caring....always feels good to know people are thinking about you! Take care John...Love Sue...(FNHL-2-3A-6/10)

    Draggin' (hair) days
    Hi Y'All,

So sorry to hear about your hair, Sue. I really thought that you would make it through also. But, you are so close to the end that you will start growing it back by the time that it falls out. (No help, I know.)

I can really attest to the tiredness issue. #6 hit me like a ton of bricks. I am just today getting so that I want to do anything. In fact, last night was the worst one yet. Had a real bad bought with the runs and got SLAMMED with a headache from hell.

But today has been better and I look forward to long term recovery now. It will come for you also. Hang in there.

    Best wishes,
    Tom (DLBCL-4-7/10)

    You can do this
I agree, the last treatments were so much harder energywise with me too. The term cumulative effect really did make itself clear.

Just do what you can, rest when you can. Vegetate in front of the TV if that's all you can do. It WILL get better, just takes time.

    Take care,
    Beth

Yes, rest well - enjoy the new self with the new hairdo!!
    Sue,

Sorry to hear about your fatigue. Makes me wonder about your blood counts going low? I too have trouble taking naps. I feel like I am cutting corners if I nap and I miss what is going on in my life - I LOVE LIFE!!! But I know I gotta rest and close my eyes for one minute if not for ten minutes! Otherwise, I get headaches. I am still learning to pace myself now that I have more energy and then down like in a yo-yo fashion. Feels like making our brains going wacky, ha.

Sue, I find myself feeling better doing the stretches and doing yoga once I make myself do that.

    Hugs,
    Liz
