Anyone have any ideas on how to manage the holidays while on tx. Sometimes I am too tired to shop and decorate.

This is the time when friends and family are at your ready, I know its hard to ask for help, but trust me they are ready to step up to the plate. You do what you can and let them do the rest as there will come a time when you can pay it forward.

What I did last year during treatment.
I had my mother in law shop for me for items that required thought and my husband picked-up specific items on a list. My husband and daughter decorated the house. The day of Christmas I sat on the sofa and family visited us...I had to take a nap in the afternoon, everyone was understanding and helpful.
Ask for help if you need, sleep when you are tired and don't sweat the small stuff!

    Ask for the Help
In 2007 I really couldn't do a thing. My daughter stepped up to the plate and asked what she could do. Well, she did it all for me. She was wonderful. 2008 I was better but there were friends and of course, my daughter, still in there helping me. 2009 I was doing better but still had to have help with someone going with me to shop. Now here it is 2010 and I am the best I have been so far. I just finished up with 8 infusions of doxil. I still have cancer but I am on a break.

So in answer to your question.... let those around you help.

PS: Don't forget that you can shop on the internet and it comes right to your door.
