Anyone have the name of an over-the-counter eyedrop to use to moisturize eyes. Eyes watering quite a lot, itchy. SE of Taxotere?

I've used these for dry eyes
This is over- the- counter and recommended by my Retinal specialist: Genteal, moderate strength.CHeck with your Oncology provider just to be sure these would be adequate for your needs. It comes in three strengths. I purchased mine at Walgreens. The local CVS did not have them.
    Hope this helps.

Thank you, will see Onc. on Tuesday, the 30th when getting Chemo #3. Will ask him then.
Think it would be all right to get it before then?

    also check with your pharmacist...
Might be a good idea to speak with pharmacist in the meantime and see what is available over the counter until you check with your Onc.

    Pharmacist
Thank you!! Will do that; also have to check my checkbook. Things are getting "tight" near the 1st of the month. So many "little" side effects to deal with in addition to the known ones.

    I use Visine natural tears
I use Visine natural tears formula for dry eye. Sounds strange but your eyes express more tears when they are dry. The natural tears was recommended by my oncol. But like Kay said ask your oncol. for his/her recommedation.

Hi Jean, I don't know when
Hi Jean, I don't know when you had your last taxotere but it might be an allergic rx to it. That's why they give you steroids with it. To prevent an allergic rx. Ask your onc or nurse about it. Just a thought....hope it clears up soon.

I have used Systane Ultra. I bought it at Walgreens, but, I think you can find it any drug store. My ophthalmologist recommended it.
