HAPPY THANKSGIVING TO ALL
I just want to wish everyone here the best Thanksgiving possible and thank the members of this forum for the great advice and support. Although Pat is post treatment and currently NED, I still have times of anxiety and fear. It is so hard, because no one really understands unless they have been through it. Looking at these posts, and seeing how people are living their life despite the beast, always helps me put things in perspective and get a grip. It helps to know I am not alone in my feelings as a caregiver, and it also helps me to understand a little better what it is like to be the one going through the treatment, which I hope helps me to be a better caregiver.
To all caregivers and loved ones of those facing this beast; to all of those post-treatment, currently in treatment, and to all of those who are missing loved ones from C or whatever reason, I want you to know I am thankful to all of you and will be thinking of you this Thanksgiving. I know it will be harder for some than others, but I hope we can all continue to support each other through this holiday season. Thank you all so much.
