Wishing ALL a Happy and Blessed Thanksgiving

Though we share heartbreak on this board and sometimes struggle to find things to be thankful for in the midst of this dreaded disease, one thing I can be thankful for is the support and encouragement I've found on this board! I thank God and all of you for sharing your stories, both good and bad, and will be thinking of all of you and your families this Thanksgiving.

Keep fighting the good fight. God is with each and every one of us, even when we can't see that he is. There is "good" to come of this, but we may never "see" it until HE makes all things right. For the ways of the Lord are higher than ours!

    A year I didn't think I would have with my husband...the friends on this board who are always ready to help in any way they can. I thank each and everyone for your kindess.

    We have just finished the 40 hours of devotion...it's a special time and we can go in the church to be alone with our Lord.

    It's comforting to know he has given his life for ours...and when each Sat during mass...our priests for the prayers in our heart...I say for my friends on the ec board, may they find comfort.

    I hope you all have a wonderful Thanksgiving...though I know some of us won't...we can always hope.

    I am so grateful to find this discussion board to find information and support most needed.
    Most importantly I am grateful that I get a chance to celebrate thanks giving with my family and dear dad at least for one more time.

    I worship any time I have with him.

    We will continue to fight this damn disease, and searching for drugs to prolong or cure his cancer.

    I too am so thankful to have spent Thanksgiving with my dad this year. I am blessed in so many ways despite the difficult journey. No matter how tough things can get I never want to lose my grateful heart.
