yes every four months
when I was on Tamoxifen I had it every four months. It is easy procedure which was done in my gynecologist office. While on Arimidex I am having it every 6 months. Listen to your oncologist.0 -
Just do it! I had multiple
Just do it! I had multiple endometrial biopsies and ultrasounds after tamoxifen d/t irregular. Bleeding was probably an early sign of menopause, but it is so much better to be safe than sorry with cancer! Btw, just had another endometrial biopsy last week. Any time I open my mouth and say I am worried about having my female organs, I get a biopsy. You would think I would learn to be quiet--just kidding!0 -

I've had 3 so far. The first one was before bc dx but knew lump was there. This one is used as the base line. So far no change. I see my gyn. every 6 months while on Tamoxefin and she wants to know if anything changes.0 -

I'm 10 years out and still get an ultrasound 2 x a year. It's worth monitoring. HUGS!!! Cathy0 -

going to call OB/GYN todayEil4186 said:My gyn. does an intrauterine
My gyn. does an intrauterine ultrasound every year along with pap smears for all patients. No charge either, because most ins. won't pay and he believes so strongly in it.
I am going to call to set up my 2nd appt for this procedure & ask them to confirm with my insuracne if more then one a year will be covered. I am sure it should since CANCER follow up!0 -

OB/GYN found unfriendly cells .. this after 18 consectively weeks of TCH, and 1 year of Herceptin .. Unfriendly cells - I will go in again in January for a repeat - pap smear. I am on NO chemo hormoral drugs .. I am scared .. but will deal with what ever is ahead of me.
I have no health insurance, so I need to wait to see if I qualify for any programs out there .. which is a full time job, right now.
