My husband was dx'd with stage 4 rectal cancer, May 2009...died October 1, 2010.
I am thankful for the help we received from this site, and wanted to let you all know I am thinking of you all during this Thanksgiving Season.

Cancer is a devastating diease, but there are many stage 4 survivors---Don't ever give up! Take care and you all will always be in my thoughts.

On a lighter note, I was so upset when setting up this account, a year and a half ago, I just realized my username "devasted" was spelled incorrectly..sorry...

    That is so thoughtful of you to wish everyone a good holiday season! I hope you will spend some time with people you care about; I know this has to be a tough time for you.

    You know, I never notice the incorrect spelling! Anyway, no extra marks are given for spelling! Take good care.

I hope you revisit some of your fondest memories with your husband of holidays past. I know you loved him very much and he would want you to be ok.

    I am so sorry you lost your husband to this terrible disease.It is so heartbreaking to lose someone you love so much.My thoughts are with you.Take care of yourself.

    We are thankful that you think in us in such important dates!
    I know it's going to be hard,but try to enjoy this days as you deserve!.
