Done with radiation!

Finished up my 6 weeks today. Now I get a break through the holidays, scan in January then 5fu/avastin again.

Last scan in September showed only one small uptake, and the cea has dropped to 1.5.

I bought a used Mercedes Cabriolet to enjoy the southern California weather, and I am still fat, with a full head of hair (my wife gets angry now when people tell her how healthy I look). I attribute it all to hamburgers and milkshakes!

Thanks to all for being here, I know the news will not always be this good, so I am enjoying it while I can!

    Enjoy the So Cal weather in your Mercedes while driving down Pacific Coast Hwy eating hamburgers and drinking milkshakes! Sounds way better than having your 5FU pump flapping in the wind. I miss So Cal. Enjoy!

    With that CEA number sounds like we all need to go with the burgers and shakes.

    Pretty good, low energy, but feel up to resuming my old schedule!

    Be careful in the next two or so weeks
    When my radiation ended, the burning intensified in the next two/three weeks badly......Then it gets better...Hopefully you won't go thru this.......steve
