Yesterday was my last of 33 treatments. I am so glad it is finally over. I will still have to use the creams for some time since my skin did burn and I have some open areas, but its good to me done with this phase! Like everyone has said, I don't know what to expect next. I have an appointment with my medical oncologist on December 7th. Thank you all for helping me get through this journey.

The only day I remember is my last day of treatment. (not diagnosis, surgery etc) I hardly had any change in skin...(just square tan) I was very lucky-each time I go to any of my dr or mammo test they are surprised how well my skin is an can't find scars (really have to look) GOOD LUCK..hope everything...works out well for you...

    Great job, Sparkle!
So happy you're done with your rads. I found it a little weird not having an appointment every single day. But, NICE!

Take good care of that skin--it'll heal up in no time.

    Congrats on being a rads
Congrats on being a rads grad. It feels so good being finished with treatments. I finished my rads in October and was so excited to finally be done. I know you have to feel excited. Now have fun celebrating.

    Congratulations, Sparkle!
Now that you've finished rads, your burns will heal. If you are able, 'air out'. I turned up the heat in the house and went around topless. Not pretty - but helpful.
You'll still be 'cooking' awhile, so don't be concerned if you feel warm to the touch.

    Congratulations!! I finished
Congratulations!! I finished my 33 rads on Monday. Still burned and still using the creams. Much better than a few weeks ago though. On Monday after my last treatment, I felt a little depressed. Kind of like I've been doing everything I'm supposed to be doing for the past few months and now it all just ends suddenly. And like you said, don't know what to expect next. I started my tamoxifen today and nervous that I won't be seeing a doctor or having a mammogram until February. I kind of feel like I should have been weaned from the doctors...haha. I'm so glad I found this site! It sucks that BC has brought us together, but a great place to talk, vent and ask questions to others going through the same thing. Congrats again and take care!
