Good luck Lisha
Just wanted to let you know that I will be thinking of you tomorrow when you go in for treatment. You've endured so many obsticles in the past few months that I'm sure your relieved to get this started. One more job to check off your list of things to get done, and heaven knows, your list has been a very long one. Hang in there and know you are in my prayers. Only positive thoughts coming your way. Love...Sue (FNHL-2-3A-6/10)

Hi Sue,
Crazy first day, but I am glad to have it over. I'm doing okay, a little nausea and headache and of course , tired. We'll see how tomorrow goes. I have two different times at the hosp tomorrow. Another crazy day, I guess.
I hope you are taking it easy and staying out of trouble (windows etc)
MIL is doing a little better.
peaceful healing

Hi Lisha,
Thats good Delores is doing a bit better...maybe things will balance out here long enough for you to get the things done that are needed to get you healthy again. Do you do radiation more than once a week? I know so little about treatment schedules with radiation. Hope you have meds for the nausea and headaches. I've been having headaches on a daily basis since round 4, but I've managed to put them in check with a couple of anancin. Yes...I'm being good and not doing anything crazy!..ha! As always, I'll keep positive thoughts and prayers coming your way. Keep us up-dated when you feel good enough to post. Take care...Love...Sue (FNHL-2-3A-6/10)0 -

Hi, Lisha, glad to hear you are mellow altho, feeling some nausea and headaches. How do you manage to eat? I find myself trying to figure out the right foods that help me feel ok eating. As for headaches, I hear also for you Sue to get rid of them with that meds, I take Topomax but still not strong enuff so increased dosage according to dr's direction and then Tylenol (am allergic to Aspirin). I am going to check out the Headache clinic and learn all I can about it cuz I really hate the symptoms: noises in my head - thunder, or whistling or pain on one side, etc. It s all new to me and scary. I noticed when I keep positive thoughts it helps but then when I am quiet then I hear them!! Makes me crazy!! I plan to learn all about this area and read the book "Headaches for Dummies".
Will be thinking of Delores in hopes she continues to feel better.
Best of luck soothing your heads and comfy healing,

One thing i drank when i felt nauseated was gingerale, it really helped, i would sip on it during the day and have it with some of my meals until the nausea subsided all together, try and see if that helps , also ginger capsules might help, ginger is very good to help subside nausea, foods with ginger might help as well, good luck to you Liz and Lisha

Thanks, Chris, I will try Ginger Ale again. I also drank Peppermint tea which helped a bit. But I remember ginger does help too.
