So sorrydixiegirl said:Pogo is home tonight
Pogo's home where she belongs. Aley brought her ashes home today for me. Since she was so protective of our front porch and garden I think I am going to make a spot for her next to a pretty rose bush. Maybe a stone with her name. That way I can still talk to her while I play in the dirt.
Thanks guys for letting me vent here. I will try to find the picture of her in my lap while I was going through chemo...we were both in a simple wooden rocking chair at the time and we didn't fit well LOL.
Peaceful healing to all of us

So sad to hear the news of Pogo. It's very hard to lose them. The same thing happened to me and my dearly loved Collie,Lily. We had to have her put down the day I had my first biopsy on the lymph node in my neck. In fact when I came home from that I never made it in the house and sat outside while the family carried her out. It was awful but thank God I was still numb from the drugs. She had what sounds like the same symptoms, her back legs just went out and was so sick. The Vet said it looked like Lyme disease even though she had been vaccinated. Reading your posts brought back so many memories. We also got a new little guy very shortly after and he has fit in wonderfully. Good luck to you. The new pup looks adorable. Mary0 -

Sorry to hear about your precious pogo. She will now guard your front door. We have such a loving God I know Pogo is running in a field of yellow flowers now. Happy and Healthy!! Let yourself grieve. Our pets are like family.0
