Funny story.......at least to me

This morning my husband took the kids to school and then came home to work on his outbuilding he is building. I said to myself, " come on self, get up and bath and let's work.". Right now I have ascites so my belly is big. I was just lying in my tub looking at my big ol' belly reminiscing of being pregnant. I had twins, so at least I'm not that big!

Anyway, I looked at my incision and there was a big, new growth. I flat out went berserk. I know colorectal cancer very rarely goes to the skin but it only takes a few trips around all the boards to read about at least one person who has something most docs wave away. I said, " I've got to get to the hospital! I'm going to be dead in 30 days! Ben (my husband), come here!!". No response because he is outside......so I open the window and screech, "Ben, come here. I'm having an emergency!". He's on the phone for work, hangs up, and comes running in. By this time, I look down and the growth is gone and I realize it was a piece of raisin bran from my breakfast................

I cried and then laughed and he laughed and hugged me and we both went back to work.
