praying
Hi Val,
I've had a recurrence in my liver, but never experienced any pain from it- actually wouldn't have even known anything was there if I hadn't seen the PET/CT scan results. Pain in the uppper right side in your back sounds to me like it could be your lungs maybe, and not the liver. Strange, though, that the scans and bloodwork have been clear. There must be something there if they're able to see something to do a biopsy on though, right? Have you had CEA tested, if it's an accurate measure for you?
I am praying for you right now for the biopsy to be conclusive and for you to be able to trust the results, negative or positive (and I'm praying for a negative biopsy!)
I'm also praying for you to be calm and more relaxed as you go in for the biopsy and as you wait for the results.
Take care and check in with us and let us know how it went!
Hugs,

I just want to say thank youAnneCan said:Good luck Val!
I hope you get good results from the biopsy.
I just want to say thank you to all of you, and to this board. I can't tell you how good it feels to be able to talk with others who know what the dickens you are not only talking about, but what you are feeling. And might I add that there is no other board in my estimation that is as good as this one. I have tried. Love you all, respect and honor you as well.

Good luck to you and pray for you too.
My ONC said that with liver mets you usually get shoulder pain. Not sure, if that is always true, but it told me to look out for shoulder pain.0 -

I'm so sorry that you're going through this especially after having clear scans and CEA. It must be scarey for you. Please take care and know that I am sending out some good luck vibes for your biospy. May your biopsy come back all clear. HUGS
well i had the syptoms of colon cancer with blood in the stool, and was told by the g.e. that it was probably not cancer at age 44, most likely internal hemmorhoid, boy was he wrong as i was i for not getting the colonoscopy. i had a huge ovarian cyst which was cancerous but no pain at all. pet scan revealed 4 large liver lesions, up to 4 cm but have had no pains at all.
good luck
