I don't really post much now, but once you become a member on here its hard to not follow up on things. Jeff went to the doctor today his oncologist, and his report was great, the only thing that on his scan showed up was a nonspecific 5 mm hypdensity is incidentally noted in the right thryoid lobe and may be on the basis of the cysts. No suspicious pulmonary nodule is seen.

This is great news. He is still on a 4 month followup but he has made progressed and was happy about it and his doctor was too, especially since this man was knocking on heaven in 09.

As many of you all know Jeff and I are not together, but that doesn't mean I am not concerned about his past cancer, so he asked me to go to the appointment today so I did, he is a great man, I just can't live with him (which most of us can't) He has lost over 75lbs since diagnosed in 09, but doctor is okay with it.

I think once you go through this journey like I did with Jeff, its just hard to not care or wondering how he is doing, like is the cancer back, is there something there he isn't saying to me, so i found out myself today. One thing about this journey you always appreciate life much more, and that I have I will always have a place in my heart about him, due to the road we walked together. I found that life is too short to have hatred in your heart.

He has had some other medical issues, as in depression but finally got him some care for that and he is doing much better, the little things that use to bother him doesn't do that now, they said most patients it hits right after surgery and his didn't hit until this year.

With all this being said, he is a survivor of esophogeal cancer, he is killing this beast instead the beast killing him.

This beast we call cancer is taking so many of our loved ones, is been taken from us on this site, and my heart goes out to each and everyone of you.

Thanks to all of you for your concerns and care.

Love to you all

    THANKS WILLIAM YES YOU WAS
    Hi william,

Yes you did walk part of that road with me, and don't think i could have done it without you, and yes it was rocky, as you well know i cried a little, laughed a little, and most of all I PULLED UP THOSE BIG GIRL PANTIES, and patened them for others to have, we always had fun with that and still do. No I just cant say goodbye with the journey i walked never thought i would see the end but I did, actually he is doing much better with the depression, he gave up well you know and I am proud of him for that. You are a wonderful person and try to help everyone on this board, i may not read them all cause they are long and sometimes worded the same but i always look at them.

Yes we have lost so many until i was ready to give some good news.

    Thanks
    again

You were the key to his success and all the prayers and support from all who heard of him. Just great that he is doing so good, we need these good stories. take care and so glad you wrote to let us know how Jeff is doing.

Great news, It is a reason
Great news, It is a reason to celebrate! So let's celebrate! There has been so much negative lately, it's wonderful to hear a success story. I understand the depression. After surgery I went thru it ( a short while) Sometimes now I have to kick myself around a little and have a good talk with myself, reminding myself to Look at where I've been and where God has brought me to. He has been so good to me.
Thanks for the good news. I needed it,
