Welcome Back
Hello Ppurdin and welcome to you. I was a caregiver for my dad. He had esophageal cancer. The tumor was very close to his stomach. He had 6 weeks of chemo and radiation in 2008. The ec went into remission for one year, and then went to his liver. Unfortunately, he passed away in March. It is very very hard to fight liver cancer. It is wonderful that the children have gotten closer to your ex husband. It is very important for them to keep a close relationship with him. If there is anything that can be done at this stage, the drs would be able to tell you that. My thoughts are that he would need more chemo and radiation. Continue to keep all lines of communication open and keep praying! Keep in touch.
