Stoma bag install trick
I use the Coloplast one piece bag. After I draw the cut line to make the stoma hole, I close the end of the bag up. Then I simply blow air into the bag at the starter hole.
With the air in the bag it makes it easier to make the hole cut. It also makes it easier for me to put the bag over the stoma. 12 more days of this damned thing. I have only had to deal with it for 74 days. Try it; I think you will like it.

I gave up on those one piece bags after I got home.
Holister 2 piece are a whole different world.
Kerry, I am going on 5 months after my reversal. I sure hope you have better luck with the bowel training. My best days are taking Lomotil and Imodium every 3 to 5 hours.0 -

YAY i am soooo excited for you!! That was Chris best day ever even though it was rough. He had his colostomy and illestomy reversed the same time in March.. He had a hard couple of weeks but since then has been pretty much back to normal.... Well normal after ostomys anyways. He will always have different bowel habits but pretty easy to manage... I will keep ya in my thoughts and cross all my fingers and toes its smooth sailing for ya
