Mayo Clinic
We went for a second opinion at MD Anderson; they did a PET and said I am cancer free, who do we believe. The Company I work for suggested I get a 3rd opinion so they are sending me to the Mayo Clinic, I will be there on the 18th, just hope they can find the real problem.
My suggestion to everyone is to keep away from small town Clinics, to this day I believe I was radiated the second time for no reason except the Local doctor jumped at a bad PET showing scan tissue that he took for recurring NPC cancer
Keep us in your prayers that they find out what the true problems are and not just a wild guess. God bless and keep all of you as we each walk through this valley in our lives.

Prayin for ya
Sorry to read about your pain and medical system difficulties. I feel your frustration. My introduction and immersion into the US' medical system has been frustrating as well. There is so much work required from us as patients to make sure everyone is doing their jobs right it leaves little time for actual rest and living. My prayers are for your pain to be taken away and your doctors to be wise. All my best to you Hondo.

I hope and Pray that Mayo's can find the cause, and the problem can be fixed w/minimum toll on you, Hondo. Mayo's is first-class. My Mom's MS was diagnosed there, and they come from all over the world to get treated there for a long list of problems. Our journeys are difficult, to be sure, but you know we don't face the obstacles alone. And know the Lord will see you thru this.
Must also agree with you about the small town thing, especially for H&N. If I'm told of a likely return bout with the C, then I plan on having the U of Iowa on board with my treatment.
Godspeed, Tim.
